Meet our Spanish Care Coordinator

Aleida Mendez is currently serving as LMO’s Care Coordinator for our Hispanic Clients. Aleida

first came to LMO as a client after having her second child. In September 2019, she was

working to obtain her GED and participating in the work program through Eckerd Connects. As

a client at LMO she enjoyed participating in the parenting classes and earning points to purchase

items from the baby boutique. Aleida found the parenting classes and resources to be very

helpful and rewarding and she wanted to share what she had experienced with the Hispanic

clients of LMO. After completing all the required hours of the Eckerd Connects work program,

she came on staff at LMO. Her love for helping others is clearly seen as she interacts with her

clients. Aleida received Christ as Lord and Savior at the age of 16 and enjoys the opportunities to 

share her faith and love for Christ with her clients.  Aleida is Married to Edgar Mendez, they will be

 celebrating their 9th anniversary in May, they have 4 children, 2 girls and 2 boys.
